About MonkWear

A Practice of Faith.

For the everyday. For every vocation. For the entire Church.

Our Story

Made in the spirit of
Ora et Labora.

Pray and work. That is the Rule of St. Benedict. Not a rule for monks alone. but every Catholic who lives between the hours of prayer, labor, Mass, family, and service.

MonkWear began with a simple question: Why does what we wear carry so little intention? We dress for work, for the gym, for Mass, for the long quiet hours at home. The same body. The same day. Different garments, but no common thread.

We believed it could be different. A pair of socks, a tee, and briefs could be made with the same care a craftsman brings to any faithful work. Minimal. Purposeful. Made from a different cloth - for the ordinary rhythm of Catholic life.

Who We Serve

We clothe the
Body of Christ.

Through the Exchange, every purchase reaches seminarians, monastics, and clergy who pray for the rest of us.

Those We Clothe

The everyday,
worn intentionally.

We believe the ordinary hours are where Catholic life is formed. Not only at Mass. Not only in prayer. In the long daily hours of work and rest, movement and stillness.

MonkWear is for those hours - a quiet reminder that the Catholic faith is lived everyday, not reserved for Sunday alone.
